Cause, Symptoms, Prevention and Treatment of Typhoid Fever
Typhoid can refer to the following :
# Typhoid fever, this disease usually caused by Salmonella enterica bactery.
# Typhus, this disease was caused by Rickettsial bacteria genus which spread by flea from rats.

Typhoid Fever, or typhoid is a disease which caused by Salmonella enterica, especially it's derivatives Salmonella Typhi. This disease can be found around the world, and spread through food and drinks polluted by feces. Typhus is a disease caused by Rickettsia bactery. This disease spread by arthropods, especially flea, mite, and louse. Three main types of typhus is epidemic typhus, endemic, and thicket typhus. Another types which is also often found is Brill-Zinser diseas, which is an epidemic typhus reappear after many years of recovery. Epidemic typhus and Brill-Zinser was caused by bacteria.

Symptoms of Typhoid Fever

After infected, it will appear one or several of the following symptoms :
# High fever of 39° to 40° C, increased slowly.
# Shivering. 
# Weak heartbeat. 
# Headache. 
# Loss of appetite. 
# Muscle ache. 
# Constipation. 
# Stomach ache.

Infection way

By food or drinks that already polluted by Salmonella bacteria. On the patient, there is a Salmonella bacteria on their blood and intestine which later become feces.
Patient also can infect this disease if patient serves, and cook the foods or hold the stuff which usually use to eat without washing hand previously.
It also can caused by water to drink or used to wash tableware like plate, glass, etc which already polluted by the bacteria.

Treatment

This disease could be prevented by Antibiotics like ampicilin, chloramphenicol, and ciproloxacin which often use to treat typhoid fever.
